Every corridor is quoted at about 500 US dollars’ worth in the source currency, not a flat 500 units, so the percentages are comparable across currencies.

Remitly: the flat fee it publishes as the fee for all transfers: 3.99 SGD from Singapore, 1.99 AUD from Australia, shown here as a share of the amount. Remitly is not offered at all from Hong Kong, Malaysia, South Korea, Taiwan or Thailand. We show no Remitly exchange rate because the only rate it publishes is a new-customer welcome offer, not its standing price.

Western Union: charges no transfer fee on these routes; its cost sits in the exchange rate instead. The figure shown is that margin, read by hand from westernunion.com in September 2026 against two independent mid-market references. Those references disagree by up to 0.7 points on thinly traded currencies, so the figure is approximate.
