Card comparison · August 2026
ether.fi Cash gives you a free virtual card on its Core tier and pays 3% back in wETH. What it does not publish is the FX rate, and everything above Core is gated on a deposit or ETHFI staked.
The short answer
Both entry cards are free. ether.fi Core includes one virtual card, and so does Kite.
ether.fi’s cashback is stronger: 3% in wETH on the first $2,000 a month.
Its better tiers are gated on capital: $15,000 deposited or 30,000 ETHFI, then $100,000 or 150,000.
Neither of its pages publishes an FX rate. Kite’s is 1.8%, whatever you hold.
Side by side
This compares the virtual card on each side, so the two columns are like for like. Every figure comes from ether.fi Cash's own site and help centre on 31 August 2026, and from Kite's. Nothing here is estimated, and ATM withdrawals are left out because they need a physical card.

The differences
ether.fi's better rates need a $15,000 deposit or 30,000 ETHFI. Kite has one card and one rate.
ether.fi publishes 30+ currencies but no eligibility list. Kite names every country it serves.
Neither ether.fi page gives an FX rate. Kite charges 1.8% abroad and nothing in US dollars.
Custody
ether.fi is non-custodial too, and describes itself as fully non-custodial with you retaining ownership and control of your funds. With Kite it stays in a wallet only you can open, and you can export the key and walk away whenever you want.
